Ceramic Bullet Proof Plates for Optimum Protection

It is undeniable that man is vulnerable to gunshots. We do not have the ability or the capacity to stop nor prevent bullets from penetrating into our human body once it hits us. This is the job of ceramic bullet proof plates.

Ceramic plates are designed to stop and then decelerate the speed of the projectile impact then breaking the bullets into pieces. Once the bullets halt, you are already safe. However, the wearer may still experience blunt force trauma but not much compared to the conventional aluminum plates that were used decades ago.

Body armor has long been used by our ancestors. These were worn by warriors in the battlefield. Only the weight was very cumbersome as opposed to the new breakthrough that has been sprouting in the market today.
The ceramic bullet proof plates are much lighter and much easier for mobility purposes especially when worn in combat. Militaries, armies, soldiers, police enforcers, and FBI agents find these armor plates more comfortable to use making them more proficient in what they do.

Despite the changes in weight, the protection properties are still substantially the same or even better. Weight is not the basis for the degree of resistance. Manufacturers found a material that is lighter than metals yet with the same protection elements needed in order to withstand certain handguns and ammunitions.

The degree of its resistance will now depend on the level as provided by the National Institute of Justice. All you have to do is figure out which level best suits your protection needs. If you are in the law enforcement agencies then level 3 is what you need. If you are exposed in much advanced weaponry, then get the highest level of protection which is level 4. For executives, VIP’s and the likes, the best type of protection is personal body armor. This is light and concealable.
